By using the FrameSnag Chrome extension or visiting our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the extension and website.

Use of the Extension

FrameSnag is a tool designed to help users capture screenshots and video thumbnails from YouTube for personal use. Some features may be limited to Pro users.

You agree that:

You are responsible for how captured images are used or shared.

You will not use FrameSnag to distribute, reproduce, or sell copyrighted material without permission from the content owner.

Pro Features and Access

Certain features of FrameSnag (such as high-resolution captures, cropping tools, or extended access) are available exclusively to Pro users via subscription.
By subscribing, you agree to Stripe’s payment terms and acknowledge that subscription fees are non-refundable once paid.

Content Use and Responsibility

Captured screenshots and thumbnails may include content protected under copyright law. FrameSnag does not claim ownership or grant license to any captured content.

It is your responsibility to:

Not print or share captured content for commercial use unless the content creator has granted permission.

FrameSnag integrates with ScreenMerch, our platform that enables approved creators to license their video content for printing on merchandise.

If you wish to use a FrameSnag image for merchandise or public distribution, it must go through the ScreenMerch Creator Approval Process.

Unauthorized commercial use of content is strictly prohibited. We do not endorse or authorize any use of third-party content outside of the ScreenMerch ecosystem unless approval has been granted directly by the content creator.

Fair Use Notice

While certain uses of screenshots and video content may qualify under “Fair Use” for commentary, education, criticism, or parody, users are solely responsible for determining whether their specific use qualifies.
FrameSnag does not provide legal advice or grant rights to any captured material.

Commercial use of content — including printing or distribution — is prohibited without explicit creator approval.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Use FrameSnag to collect or distribute inappropriate or offensive content.

Reverse-engineer, clone, or modify the FrameSnag extension.

Circumvent any subscription or usage limits.

Limitation Of Liability

FrameSnag is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for:

Browser or platform compatibility issues.

Losses related to third-party platforms or services.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to FrameSnag at any time for violating these terms or abusing the service.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes arising from your use of FrameSnag shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in California.
